BidToRank ("we", "us") operates a free product discovery board open to founders anywhere in the world, plus a paid Advertise feature. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it.
Information We Collect
Contact details
Your email address and WhatsApp number when you submit a product listing, and your name and email when you request an ad or contact support.
Product information
The product URL, category, and description you submit for listing on the board.
Advertiser information
If you request an ad: company name, your name, email, ad text, link, and placements. Payment is arranged directly with our team by email — we never see or store card details.
Usage data
Click counts on Visit buttons and ads, used to power the public board and stats. To show how many people are on the site right now, your browser stores a random anonymous ID that is sent to us while the site is open — it isn't linked to your identity and is deleted within minutes of you leaving.
How We Use Your Information
- To review and display your product listing on the public board.
- To follow up on and run Advertise campaigns you submit, including arranging payment.
- To contact you via email or WhatsApp about your listing, ad, or support requests.
- To calculate public stats such as click counts and board position.
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the platform.
Sharing With Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited information only where necessary to run the service:
- Payments: ad payments are arranged directly with our team. We don't use a third-party checkout on this site and never store card details.
- Infrastructure: your listing and contact details are stored on our hosting/database infrastructure (Cloudflare).
What's Public
Your product name, tagline, URL, category, board position, and click count are shown publicly by design — that's the core of the service. Your email, WhatsApp number, and payment details are never shown publicly.
Data Retention & Your Rights
We retain listing and account data for as long as your listing remains on the platform, or as required for accounting and dispute-resolution purposes.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us — see below.
Cookies & Local Storage
We use minimal browser local storage to keep the site working smoothly (e.g. remembering session state). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of BidToRank after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
